Bring on the batteries!!!!! We have a full line of Lipoly packs and can waterproof them! Time has told the story for Fine Design records. It has been 5 1/2 years since Fine Design has dipped its toe into the waters of RC boating. We have managed to set the records for others to follow or aspired to. Our 2007 season was super with drivers participating around the United States we have set numerous world and national records for speed on water. Our congratulations to Paul Pachmayer setting multiple records in offshore categories as well as one of the first electric RC'ers to win heat races against open classes of gas and nitro. Kelly Brooks; who also set numerous records with NAMBA oval racing this year as well as wins in open gas and nitro against electric. Dennis Whitt, who has proven to be a top contender with these batteries and has set over 10 records in 4 years in oval and straight away. And not to forget Tim Higdon of Alaska who has participated in time trial runs for 3 years now and has climbed to the top of the ranks with his precision built with riggers. Tim was able to blow away older German records by over 15mph at the 2006 straight aways in California. Putting Tim as one of the fastest US boaters at 116-118mph on water. This is important to note that with the exception of Tim, a master RC builder, his boat, his prop, and Fine Design batteries; all the equipment was the same as the Germans...Lehners motors and Schulze speed controls. It has been some time since Fine Design has pointed out these accomplishments, but take note if it is power you need and performance you demand Fine Design is undeniably the place you need to call.
