1. Turn on the radio and connect everything but the batteries.
2. Pull throttle and then connect batteries. No beeps.
3. Wait for about 10s: you hear a short beep.
4. Immediately release throttle: you hear a short beep.
5. Immediately pull throttle again. The controller will start beeping with
single beeps, aprox. 1s between them. Count the beeps, they are the modes.
Release throttle after the desired number of beeps.
6. After a short while the controller will beep the mode you choosed (short
time between beeps). In some cases depending on the
controller you need to wait for 1 more beep .You can now
run or shut the controller off. The mode is stored.
Timing modes:
Mode 1: hot timing for 4 or more pole motors (Plettenberg brushless).
Mode 2: mild timing for 4 or more pole motors (Plettenberg brushless).
Mode 3: hot timing for 2 pole motors (Hacker, Lehner, Kontronik Fun,...),
very mild for 4 or more pole motors.
Mode 4: opimized timing for 2 pole motors (Hacker, Lehner, Kontronik
Fun,...). Comparable to Kontronik 3SL fixed timing.
Mode 5: soft timing for 2 pole motors (Hacker, Lehner, Kontronik Fun,...).
Mode 6: very soft timing for 2 pole motors (Hacker, Lehner, Kontronik
Fun,...).
The lower the mode number the higher the rpm.
